MEET THE ANIMALS
HANKHank is a 1.5 year old "mini" pig. He came to us an owner surrender. He was left entire and had started to behave aggressively. He had severe mange and was underweight upon arrival. Hank is only very new here, but is settling in well and has since been neutered.
TUITui is a small pony who was being listed as a cart and riding pony despite the fact that she was very crippled and couldn't even walk comfortable. She arrived here malnourished, arthritic, and with overgrown teeth. We've been working with our vet and farrier to get her back on track and she has come so far and is much more comfortable these days even breaking into a trot and canter at times.
MOONMoon is the boss goat in her herd. She and Star were both used as dairy goats at a small hobby farm which meant that their babies were taken away from them after a couple of days. Only when they came here months later were they reunited. They were going to be euthanized because Moon tested positive for CAE. Many goats live long and happy lives with CAE and many remain asymptomatic.
GRACEGrace is a female turkey who spends her days hanging out with the guinea fowl. She is very curious and loves to watch what is going on.
