Franny and Flo were rescued in October 2021. They were found wandering near a local school. There was a factory egg farm next door, so it's assumed they escaped during a move from a pullet barn to a layer barn where they would have spent their lives in a confined space until they were no longer useful as egg layers. When they first arrived, they were very nervous and skittish, but now they are calm and curious little hens. They look very similar but we can tell them apart by their combs. Flo’s comb flops to the left and Franny’s to the right. Flo is more timid than Franny.
